Change "Model" to "Size"

gnarly parts

Recommended Posts

First of all, any fixed that is displayed on a page comes from one of the files under includes/languages. Text used on multiple pages appears in english.php (or german.php, etc.), whereas text used on a single page only is found in the file of the same name in the english (german, etc.) subfolder.

Now, Model is a field in the product that is typically used like a "part number" or SKU or catalog number. It tends to be unique across all products, but if you want to rename it Size you can. So you may have, say, four products all named "Shirt", each with a "Model" that is its size. An interesting approach.

I will recommend that you obtain and use a good file search tool. I use the one that is built in to Dreamweaver, but there is a very nice freeware Windows tool called "Agent Ransack" that I find very handy in general. Many of the questions in this forum of the form "where is this text defined?" can be answered by searching the osC sources for the text in question.
