Guest Posted February 26, 2005 Share Posted February 26, 2005 I'm having trouble understanding the instructions for installing the PayPal_IPN module (in contributions). It says... Installation1. Copy the files in the directory structure set in the contribution download file to your osCommerce installation directory. Note: Be sure to also copy the new "ext" directory to the catalog root directory.. 2. Go to the Administration Tool->Modules->Payment section at your osCommerce Administration Tool. 3. Install the PayPal IPN module and configure its parameters. Note: The module is disabled by default so configuration can occur during the operation of a live store. I followed the instructions (or so I thought), and went to my admin panel. There was no additional option to install the PayPal IPN module. All it had was the old one for PayPal that comes with the standard installation. My main problem is that I don't understand what they mean by "installation directory and catalog root directory. Can anyone tell me how the path for these read? I've installed this module in every way that seems logical and I'm not getting it right. Any help would be appreciated.
