Please help with shipping rates - weight

Hi there,

 

Was wondering if anyone could help me out with a little problem i can't seem to sort out.

 

i need to setup shipping rates by weight (using the rate table), as follows:

 

upto 1Kg = ?5.00

Between 1Kg and 5Kg = ?6.95

Between 5Kg and 10Kg = ?8.50

Between 10Kg and 15Kg = ?10.00

Between 15Kg and 20Kg = ?11.50

Between 20Kg and 25Kg = ?13.00

 

I tried to use the feature table built in but i couldn't not get it to work.

 

Any guide towards getting that to function correctly, or contributions that would help would be great.

First, you need to make sure that all of your catalog products have weights assigned to them. Also, are weights entered as kg's or grams in your catalog?

 

Then go into your Admin screen to -> Modules -> Shipping -> table rate.

 

Click on the table rate, then click on 'Edit.'

 

In the shipping table, if your weights are recorded in kilograms, enter your amounts like so:

 

1:5.00,5:6.95,10:8.50,15:10.00,20:11.50,25:13.00

 

If your weights are recorded in grams, change to:

 

1000:5.00,5000:6.95,10000:8.50,15000:10.00,20000:11.50,25000:13.00

After I did all that, I get:

Shipping Method

This is currently the only shipping method available to use on this order.

 

Table Rate

Best Way $1.00

The handling charged ($1.00) showes as shipping cost.

Please help.

Did you include weights in your product descriptions when entering them in the catalog? (If not, you'll need to update all of them to include the product weight for the above to work.)

 

If you do have weights entered for all of your products, what is the total weight of the items in your shopping cart?

Could you explain this to me?

From Admin I added weigh to all products. It looks ok and it says " Table Rate "

but cost is what ever I add as handling charge.

I have another site that I am using DHL shipping modules.

I don't know how to install it in this site.

Any time I try to fix something, something els goes wrong.

I have an issue with other site too wich I am getting parse error.

I like to know if I missed to add weight to some product, could cause

the problem. B)

Are your shipping methods installed? Please post the info I requested a couple of posts ago. Also, if your shipping methods are installed, filenames would be helpful, if you've modified them from the original.

Hi,

I am back.

Thanks for compliment. While I was looking for shipping modules I came across this:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: tep_db_query() in /home/gourmetc/public_html/add_checkout_success.php on line 3

----------- This is the script and all () are correct unless I missed somthing.
