Guest
I have searched the forums for the last couple of days looking for help on how to install osCommerce on a local server and whilst I find snippets of information, there is no sort of step by step guide I can find - there is reference to one with a link to a pdf file but unfortunately the link is broken. I have tried to do this on my own - honest - before posting here but I really do need some help. I am not a programmer and have never attempted something like this before so I am a real novice. I have installed Foxserv and I can get to the OSC installation page and I start to go through the installation OK, the program says that a test connection to the database is OK but on the next screen, i get a message to say that oscommerce.sql doesn't exist! I know it does exist, I can see it with explorer!! I can't think of anything to try to get to the next step. Any help will be much appreciated
