But when someone from California adds item to thier cart when they checkout it adds the tax no problem but it does not say what the addition is for. it just shows more money than the item. I think it is just a simple line of code I need to add somewhere or just edit. I am looking around now but I just can't find it. People are asking why they are getting a price added. TerryK Posted February 25, 2005 Share Posted February 25, 2005 You can change the wording via the Admin interface. /admin -> Locations/Taxes -> Tax Rates Once there, you should see whatever class you're collecting tax on. Click the 'edit' button, then change the description to whatever you want displayed. (This will carry forward through the checkout process as well as onto printed invoices, as far as I know.)
