index.php beyond help

Recommended Posts

Hi - of course I'm new!! And I completely messed up my index.php while editing through my server. Alas - what can be done - I think I've accidentally erased some important stuff while trying to simply remove the "...default store blah blah blah none of the items can be bought" text.

If you wan't to hook me up with the code

I need to make the page load

you can bash me with up to 3 adjectives

for my folly.

Thanks - K

Go to www.oscommerce.com and download the MS2.2 zip file, unzip, and the 'catalog' folder has a complete set of default files.

Do not use the osCommerce File Manager to edit files, it causes parse errors - download the file, edit in a plain text editor (Notepad will do) and then upload again.
