moonlitsun
Hello, out there! We have assembled yet another site with a small touch of custom work on the main page. Here is the link: Rich Cove The site pricing still hasnt been updated, nor has an SSL or Merchant account been attached yet. However, I'm sure the client will be putting them in place shortly. Please share your feedback on the visual elements. Any input is appreciated. :) Thx Carpe Carp: Seize the Fish.

Guest
Nice job, the colour scheme is just perfect for the targeted potential customers. Definitely a relaxing site for your customers to stay. And, of course, spend! At time of writing, the header looks fine with the latest version of Netscape, FireFox, Mozilla. But it is corrupted when rendered in Internet Explorer version 6.0.2900.2128 running on XP SP2. (you can clearly see the gaps on the logo). Great!
RyanSmith
You do good work. I do enjoy your sites. They are always pleasing to look at, and have good personality. The one thing that I would suggest on your site is that when you click a link, the page goes white before the style is applied, causing a white flash. This is somewhat distracting and hard to look at. I think you can solve this problem by setting the <body bgcolor="your blue" that way the background will already be the correct color before the style is applied, removing the white flash. Just a suggestion. Good work! osCommerce is a great piece of software with wonderful contributions. Spend some time in the contribution area. There are a lot of gems there. MarcS
Hi Nice site. Very well done. My only proposal would be to add a little dhtml or flash. As the images are all very similar on the front page, a little movement would breathe some life into the site. Maybe scrolling bestsellers with images, rotating new arrivals or preferably add a bit of flash movement to "X marks the spot". That is only my humble opinion though. Thanks so much for the input. :) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> \I use the Maxthon browser (MyIE2) and the header is offset. It may have something to do with the image map layout displaying oddly within your browser, since the header is cut up into numerous pieces. BTW, why Maxthon? Never heard of it as a browser before. Is it very good? Thx Carpe Carp: Seize the Fish.
yanksno1
Browsing some of the sites here, and I really liked your site. Very thought out and nicely put together. A few suggestions though. Add some space (about 10-20px or so) between the top and bottom. It feels a bit cluttered with no space there. For the top menu where the checkout, view cart, my account buttons are, add some rollovers to add a little touch to the site. It feels a bit static with those images and nothing happening. I'd also say put a 1px solid white border around the main table. That way it'll differenciate between the 2 blue colors. The last suggestion I have is make the blue rollover color on the text links darker. It seems a bit too light against the white background. Besides those suggestions, very nicely done. One of the better job's I've seen. :)

Wendy James
Site looks fantastic, great colors, great layout. Only things I noticed was that the first half of the header image (the part on the left linked to the index.php) isn't lining up with the other side and the link colors when highlighted are too light and hard to read. I am using IE 6.0 if that helps. Wendy James Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep.
burt
It's nice, but it's not up to your usual high standard. I'm guessing that the client didn't have the necessary budget for a more "Codi" design?
Guest
Moonlit Sun, I like it! Great visually! Of course, I like the jewelry products the best! Header appears fine in my browser. Some of the already listed suggestions were what I was thinking, like the roll-over color of links. I was thinking the darker blue of the background would be good, it would show up better and match the site well. You're ahead of me in ability, so I'm afraid I don't have a long list of suggestions. Looks really good! NS
