Spending Hours and still installation problems!

Hi Everyone,

 

I have experience in using osCommerce however this is the first time I have had to install this brilliant program.

 

On installation I was able to link the sql database okay but was having problems understanding a message saying permission levels werent set and to change some files to chmod777. After hunting through these forums for an answer I finally found out how to fix this simple problem. However...

osCommerce now displays a whole lot of error messages. At the bottom it says 'installation was successful!' and I am given the option of 2 buttons... 'Catalog' & 'Administration Tool'. Clicking on either of these 2 buttons leads me to a page of more error messages. Is this normal? I will copy and paste the page text and hopefully one of you genius' can help!
