adam71o
I have a b2bsuite oscommerce installation. I am unable to make sense of the installation for this contribution (Product Attributes - Option type Feature). I am looking for someone to install this into my site. It SHOULD take under 1.5 hours, closer to 1 or less, for anyone who knows what they're doing (which I do not), to install. The problem is that, despite the popularity of this contrib., there STILL is no decent install guide. It just says "compare our files to yours," basically. If there was a decent normal guide like: FIND: cooooooodeeeeeee; REPLACE WITH: neeeeeeeeewcoooooooooode; ...then I would be able to do this myself, but alas, no such guide. I am the "tech guy" at our small company, so since I cannot figure this out, the $$ is coming out of my own pocket. I can paypal someone ~$30 (mildly negotiable) for the project, which IMO should just under an hour. Let me know if you are interested.

The contibution you are refering to is in regards to options for products once oscommerce is already installed. If it is already installed and you are trying to make sence of the Product atributions, I can help you there no prob. If it is not installed on your server yet.... Did you download it from the oscommerce site, or is it part of your server options? To better clarify... my server already has the option to download oscommerce, only had to push a button to install. If you downloaded it from oscommerce you should have gotten a read me file with all install info..... Let me know for sure where you currently stand so I can try to steer you straight. ;)
adam71o
Oscommerce (MS2.2, with b2bsuite) is already installed. This is a live store. This contrib., on the other hand, is not installed, and is the source of my problem. My oscommerce installation was done by "Fantastico" (an autoinstaller). I then, overwrote the stock osc files with b2bsuite. All this is well and fine and works perfectly. My problem is that I do not know how to install this contribution. My OSC shop is up and running. I am trying to add this contribution to it.

I would say if that is the case,,,, save all the files to your local pc,,, download a new version from oscommerce and install it.... replace the files that have your products listed to re inventory your store. adam71o
Not exactly. Right now, there is nothing wrong with my oscommerce installation at all. This is a live site that is running perfectly from all aspects (client/admin). Nothing is wrong and everything functions properly. I want to pay someone money to install the "Product Attributes - Option type Feature" contribution for me.
