Guest Posted February 23, 2005 Share Posted February 23, 2005 HI, i am kind of new to PHP and definitly new to OScommerce. I installed oscommerce via a control panel on the server space i rent. most ever thing wroks ont he oscomerce site except a few pages such as the checkout section returns a "page cannot be displayed" message. Does anyone know why this may be happing? the page the link appears to point to exists on the server. bobg7 Posted February 23, 2005 Share Posted February 23, 2005 Since it looks like the internet is generally slow right now it's hard to say, but generally when this issue happens on a new install, you have SSL set to TRUE in the /include/configure.php and don't have SSL installed yet. Try editing on your PC the /include/configure.php in the catalog and also in admin to read: define('ENABLE_SSL', false); // secure webserver for checkout procedure? Then FTP it back to your server and seeif that resolves the issue. I hope this helps, Bob G.
