terryt
Hi there - I'm having a problem getting the shipping part of things to work, and I'm hoping someone can advise me on what to do about it. One of the suppliers I would like to use is located in California. He ships the goods (to my customer) by UPS ground (on my behalf) after I pay him. My question is, how can a customer (in my store) determine how much the shipping costs will be if the weight of the product is unknown ? One of the problems I'm having is that the supplier doesn't list the weight of each product. I hate to say this, but the supplier sounds like he's right off the boat, and has a problem communicating. All I could get out of him when I posed the same question was to contact UPS. ????? Should I just go with a new supplier that can provide weights ? In the end, do you need to know the weight and size of an object to be able to provide a shipping cost ?
