Guest
I have shared hosting, and shared SSL through my webhosting provider. The url for the shared hosting is https://cellitude.ixwebhosting.com. However, as you can see below, that I have made changes to the config file, but the checkout does not go into secure checkout. Am I missing something? // Define the webserver and path parameters // * DIR_FS_* = Filesystem directories (local/physical) // * DIR_WS_* = Webserver directories (virtual/URL) define('HTTP_SERVER', ''); // eg, http://localhost - should not be empty for productive servers define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'https://cellitude.ixwebhosting.com'); // eg, https://localhost - should not be empty for productive servers define('ENABLE_SSL', true); // secure webserver for checkout procedure? Guest
you need to have your http server filled in for a starting point. also post a bit more of your configure.php so we can make sure you have the cookie domains set properly.

Guest
once u enable ssl then i can see what is going on <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I have made the changes, however, it still does not do a secure checkout. Do I need to make changes in the admin?
stevel
No, there's nothing to be done in admin. But it does not seem as if the configure.php on your sever matches what you posted here. But it does not seem as if the configure.php on your sever matches what you posted here. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I had to change the configure.php back to the non ssl, because, for some reason I was having a freeze on the final checkout link - ie. after clicking on the confirm order, the browser would slow down and I would get a CGI timeout error. Once I had the ssl out of the configure, it was back to normal.
stevel
Well, that's something you need to discuss with your web host, then.
