dave111
I installed this coupon code contrib. http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contri...l/search,coupon The admin area to it works great... can create coupons cool! BUT, the download contains no file which edits any catalog files. So there is no where in the catalog to enter the coupon for customers... hmm Surely you have to add something to one of the checkout_*.php files... Anyone got any ideas? Guest
bump <{POST_SNAPBACK}> well the link above does not go anywhere but if its the one I think it is, have you installed the full credit class and gift voucher contrib? if not, that's your problem. there is not contribution at this time that only does discount coupons. there are MANY threads on this contribution if you search for it. good luck. I am sure your store is nowhere has modified as ours and got it to work right out of the box with minor tweaking. And dont let the 80 or so lines fool you, many of them are repeats for other languages...if you only have one language, you can maybe do it in 30-45 minutes if you know you store well. Guest
New problem: where do you enter the coupon code to redeem it? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> it typically shows up on the checkout_payment.php screen. you should check out the official support thread for this contrib. It's over 98+ pages long and almost all problems have been discussed and resolved there!
dave111
Ok i have 1 more problem (pretty small problem) When you redeem a coupon code a line appears in the shopping cart box saying "coupon: more info" and the more info is a link, but when you click it nothing happens sad.gif (I posted in the Credit class thread but it seems kind of dead (last post by someone who knows anything was like 6 months ago)
