Crags
Hi there I've got a print company asking us if we can build them an online store, but they dont want it for the general public as such - YET. What they have are groups of clients that order things like display stands, business cards, letterheads etc etc. What they want to do is to be able to have their clients set up in "groups" to be able to only see products available to them. They also want the clients to be able tpo quickly and easily re-order previous items. Let me give you an example... Business X has registered with their website, and has access to "Product Group A". Now, I'd like them to ONLY be able to see "Product Group A" and if they try to view any other products, to be told that they don't have permission. Or, better still, to not actually be able to see any other products, other than those in "Product Group A" Business X then views the products, and places an order of 1000 "Product A" Business X then decides after a few months they need another 100 and so logs onto the site. The client would like them to be able to simply select previous orders, click on the order of 1000 "Product A" and hit a button that says something like "Repeat Order" or similar, and 1000 of "Product A" is added to the cart and they are taken to the checkout procedure. Now, I've scoured some of the contributions and forums, and whilst finding similar things, haven't actually found anything that will do what I want it to as such. I guess I'm really looking for a system of "Groups" where I can put a registered client into a group ("Group A" for example) and also assign that group to a product, so that only users matching the group assigned to the product can view/purchase that product. Does anyone have any ideas / info on how to go about it, or maybe something I can modify to achieve the same effect. Many thanks in advance guys.
