WCCT
As of right now the osc admin panel is not protected. When I go into my jaguar cpanel, and change it in the password protection area, I get a password window, but nothing works. Any ideas? ♥Vger
First of all - rename the 'admin' folder to something unique (not admin2), and then go to admin/includes/configure.php and change the two references to /admin/ to /newname/ Then go to your web hosting control panel, and try using the Password Protect feature again. If it still doesn't work then contact your hosting company. I don't know about cPanel, as I use Ensim Pro, but in the control panel I use you first have to set up a web group, add a user to that group, and then password protect the folder you want to, selecting a user from that group. PVK
My advice is the very simple, but always working .htaccess way. Simply put a .htaccess file in your directory and you'll have the most simple way of protecting your directory with a password  http://httpd.apache.org/docs/howto/htaccess.html
