Guest Posted February 20, 2005 Share Posted February 20, 2005 i get this warning: Warning: mysql_connect(): Too many connections in /hsphere/local/home/fludan/fludan.com/catalog/admin/includes/functions/database.php on line 19 Unable to connect to database server! i contacted my webhosting company and they told me it is "This happens because some careless programmers don't close connection to MySQL server in theirs scripts. Guest Posted February 20, 2005 Share Posted February 20, 2005 The server is to blame and definately not osCommerce. Some low quality shared hosts give you very low number of DB connections. If the problem persists, consider changing your host. And if the business is doing well, you might want to consider getting a dedicated host.
