dssquirt Posted February 20, 2005 Share Posted February 20, 2005 I inherited this site from a previous designer so I did not initially install oscommerce. Now I would like to add some of the features in modules, but I am a little scared to do this in fear of messing up the whole site. I have read instructions for some of them, but they leave me confused. Is there anyone who can give me some basic help on how I install these or is there somewhere I can go and read about this? I am getting comfortable with making changes throughout the site in the existing pages and have even added pages. So I think if you could just point me in the right direction I could do it - otherwise I will have to hire it done. Thanks everyone. You are a great help. RikR Posted February 20, 2005 Share Posted February 20, 2005 The instructions to install each contribution will be included. They are all different, so there is no "general" instruction. Some, like a Payment module may only require uploading the files to your host and using the Admin install feature. Others require extensive editing of existing files.
