search the contributions for the featured products contribution. It lets you choose exactly which products you want in the box.

The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing.

Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems?

There are many very useful osC Contributions

Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here

BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!!! You did backup, right??

If you always want to control new products then go to that contribution. But if you only want to avoid having tonnes of new priducts when you load you store first time then is is best to just leave things alone and then change the entered date through the date back to say 01.01.2005 once you have loaded everything.

Also, check the new products program as mine had a bug and did not search on year. Itr showed new product for Feb including ones from 2004!

I installed that contribution and it works great and does what it is suposed to.

I have a problem with the fact my site is showing every single product I have on the "new products" page even though I set the dates back to 2004, which doesn't have anything to do with the contribution.

No idea how to fix the problem so if anyone reads this and knows what to do I would appreciate a comment. =)
