Printer-friendly product pages

With the layout of my store the way it is, I'd like to offer my customers printer-friendly links in the product page to a clean, mostly graphics-free page that they can print off for future reference. (Something along the lines of the invoice that gets generated in admin comes to mind.)

 

Has anyone done this? If so, can you offer some pointers? If not, I'll add it to my to-do list to try and figure out. :)

David: That article does look interesting -- and certainly seems like it would be easy enough. I'm going to give it a shot and see if I can make it work.

 

Kym: I did search the contrib's for print, print friendly, printer friendly, and friendly, but came up with nothing. So unless it's there under a completely unrelated term, I don't think anyone's made a mod.

 

Off to check out the CSS option! :)
