etu1972
Thought I read in some thread that the local directory versions of the configure.php files should be deleted from the public set of files, but didn't get the whole gist of the thread. Should these and anything else in the local dirs be deleted in the public set of files-the files with my host? Thanks, AMc Should I stay or should I go now? Thanks and goodbye Joe. Guest
osCommerce can have 4 configuration files In the admin section: - catalog/admin/includes/configure.php - catalog/admin/includes/local/configure.php (if exist, it will be use instead of the above configure.php) In the catalog section: - catalog/includes/configure.php - catalog/includes/local/configure.php (if exist, it will be use instead of the above configure.php) The local folders are there to help the development process, if you are developing your store in a local host on your desktop etc. When you synchronize all files with ftp you can just delete the configure.php files in the local folders. Hope that helps.
