cofee_iv
Where is the login for admin? :-" I tried just going to /admin but I get this: ForbiddenYou don't have permission to access /oscommerce/admin on this server. This is really silly, but thanks, anyway!
Guest
Yes the catalog/admin directory (or what ever, that you renamed it to). You should see a box asking for l/p. It shouldn't take you directly to Forbidden page. Very strange. How did you set up the Admin?
cofee_iv
chmodded a bunch more and finally got it. But I still don't see a place to access it from the actual shop.
cofee_iv
My host offered this as a "power tool", so all I had to do was tell it to install and put in my config. stuff.
Guest
Who is your host?
cofee_iv
I have a Christian host. I think he has gotten these "power tools" via the php MyAdmin http://www.pjlhosting.com Other tools he offers are phpp forum, chat, gallery, etc.
Guest
Your host has a Create password protected directories for security. You should be able to use that feature to manage passwords. If you used the default installation path of the Power Tools, your admin control panel *might* be at http://www.yourdomain.com/oscommerce2/admin Give it a try.
