loginsecure on catalog/admin

Hi!

Do anyone know how to do when I secure the admintool (catalog/admin) with a login or somthing, there is some files called login.php... is it refered to th admintool.. right now I can go direct in on the web and then have to secure with "chmod", do anyone know???

I would check my hosting control panel first and see if you have a tool to protect your folders. If you have cpanel you do and most others do as well. It will be much simpler than installing a contribution.

Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems?

Run a httaccess on your Admin folder from the server....

or if you use a webhotel then speak to the admins so they can passwordprotect the catalouge.

Mouch easier and tes this brings up a login prompt uponn entering any part in the /admin cat..
