So I have an order here - several items all totalling about 75lbs. Just one of those items being 45lbs. Yet on the invoice, it only charged him UPS 41.9375lbs!

I've checked all the items, but hell, only need to see that one item. Definitely is 45lbs - how does OSC turn all that into 41.9375lbs ?!?!?!??!?!

please tell me there is a guru out there that knows the answer to this one!

so I notice that if i remove the 45lb item, all calculations are correct.

but it does something else i dont understand

with the 45lb item it goes from

United Parcel Service (1 x 34.375lbs)

to

United Parcel Service (2 x 41.9375lbs)

WHAT IS THE 1 x and 2 x ??????

the 1x and 2x are how many packages it breaks it into.

you need to set the max shipping wieght in your admin.

also better not set it to a setting higgher than your shippers will ship.

see their websites for shipping max weights.

ok, i sufficiently feel like a moron

duh, 1 package or 2 packages, 2 packages at 41 lbs makes sense for total weight

sorry for wasting your time all :P
