katonboard
Yes I am a newbie. I am currently setting up my website and thanks to all the people before me I have found the answers to all the questions I have had so far. I am sure this question is here somewhere but I haven't found it... I would like to know how to change the image size on the catalog product page standard template. The product description page comes up with a small image and underneath the image it says "click to enlarge". I would like the page to come up with a large image not a small one that then needs to be clicked. I would appreciate a point in the right direction. Thank you Kat
RyanSmith
Look in the contribution section for thumb generator or images or the like. There are lots of great contributes that fix the way osCommerce handles images. It's a smart idea to use one of these anyway because the base oscommerce install forces the user to download the whole image and then resize it making for large webpages (Slow downloads). You might think of using the contribution that allows you to have multiple images. I really like that one. Hope that points you in the right direction. osCommerce is a great piece of software with wonderful contributions. Spend some time in the contribution area. There are a lot of gems there.
