cofee_iv
My webhost offered oscommerce as a "power tool". I didn't have to do much to the installation, except the configuration. It installed on it's own after I told it to do so. I can see the main page, but cannot login or set up an account. I cannot checkout, etc. I just keep getting a "page cannot be displayed" error. What do I need to do? Thanks!!
bobg7
my first thought is you have "enable SSL" set to true in /includes/configure.php and you don't have SSL. change it to false and see what happens. if that works, also change it in /admin/includes/configure.php Installed Contributions: CCGV, Close Popup, Dynamic Meta Tags, Easy Populate, Froogle Data Feeder, Google Position, Infobox Header Entire Row, Live Support for OSC, PayPal Seal with CC images, Report_m Sales, Shop by Price Revised, SQL Updater, Who's Online Enhancement, Footer, GNA EP Assistant and still going. cofee_iv
Thanks! I changed both of those and am now receiving the following error at the top Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file: /var/www/html/oscommerce/includes/configure.php. This is a potential security risk - please set the right user permissions on this file.
