Guest
We are having issues with using the table rate based on price. Do we need to have a weight for each product, in order for the 'price' based table rate to work? I have a very competent coder who says this is needed, but I want to confirm. I found using the ZONE TABLE works much the same way, but only with the product weight! MUCH MUCH better. Please you can set the ZONES (Country) you want. Quote Remember... Where ever you go... Jeremy at oddly enough
I use two versions of the region based rates, one unmodified for ground, one slightly altered (so that I could use it at the same time as the other) for air rates. They work pretty well for me! Jeremy http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,818/

But the ZONE TABE seemed to work for me... I sell CD's... each CD is .2 lbs (3.2oz) so I figured to ship based on that.... .2:2.25,.4:3.85 and so on 1 CD .2 lbs = $2.25 2 CD .4 " = $3.85 and so on So YES... each product has to have a weight... if you are using weight base shipping.. and I found for ME... that ZONE table works... but for a PRICE break to your customer you may want to use the RATE TABLE Quote Remember...
