Adding custom pages

Recommended Posts

I'd like to add a custom page and box to oscommerce, I couldn't find anything int he contributions immediately.

The page I'm adding will just be simple html and not anything from a database, can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance,

Please note - if I have suggested a contrib above, it doesnt mean it will work! Most of the contribs are not ones I've used, but may be useful for your particular problem....

Have you tried a refined search? Chances are your problem has already been dealt with elsewhere on the forums.....

if (stumped == true) {

return(square_one($start_over)

} else {

$random_query = tep_fetch_answer($forum_query)

}

You do not really need a contribution to add new pages. You can look in the knowledge base and follow the steps found HERE

The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing.

Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems?

There are many very useful osC Contributions

Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here

BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!!! You did backup, right??

TECHNICALLY, you dont need a contribution to add new pages. However, if you're looking to add hundreds of additional custom pages, it's a good idea to have something admin-friendly. ;)

BTW...this contribution is effective if you dont mind using the same URL every time (a la product_info.php behavior), but wont work if you are looking to generate entirely new php pages dynamically.

I agree with moonlitsun. Not only do the contributions make it easy to add pages, it allows you to edit the standard pages already included in osCommerce, like Shipping and Returns and Conditions of Use... and the front page. I install one version of the many contributions to every site I make, and throw in the wysiwyg editer to make it even easier for the person adding content. =)

Love the one linked above and this one
