Lost Webmaster - password (& other) help!

Well, our webmaster quit and left us pretty high and dry. (Although, our site is currently working alright, so I guess it could have been worse. :blink:) I have a few questions so that I can take over (at least until we can find a new webmaster), but here's my biggest concern:

 

We need to change our Paypal password because ex-webmaster knows it, but I'm not sure if somewhere along the way osCommerce needs that info. Will I screw things up with my shopping cart by changing the Paypal password? Is there somewhere in the Paypal module I need to put the new password to keep everything running smoothly?

 

There's also a couple of issues we've been running into (not often, but enough to be annoying) that I would love to correct if possible:

 

1. We receive a Paypal notice of payment but no order notice from the store. Are they doing something wrong or are we? There's also no record in their history or ours when we check the site.

2. Customers getting an error page when trying to return to the store after paying by Paypal. It goes off for lines and lines about " supplied argument is not a valid stream resource..." I can try to get more info if it would help, and it doesn't happen a lot, but I've gotten a few emails about it...

 

And finally, we use quickbooks and didn't know of there was any way (a module, etc) to have orders shoot right into Quickbooks instead if keying them in from the emails. Or am I asking a lot? :blush:

log into paypal and create another password if you can not remember your password to log in answer your secret question that was created when you first opened your paypal account then a new password will then be sent to you via email.

After your customers made payment using paypal, be sure to ask them to click "Finish" button at lower right corner of the paypal payment confirmation page, if they didn't do that, oscommerce will not get "VERIFIED" response from paypal, therefore, no order info will be stored. There is another option to solve this problem, install Paypal IPN module. You can find the contribution Here

You can write a small script to export your database to quickbook or excel.
