bitter-girl.com
Ok, you'll have to forgive me for being rusty, but I last installed osC over a year ago, so.... The shop is up and running just fine at one of my domains. Now, I'd like a second (different) store at another one of my domains. Just copying the whole shebang over and then trying to get into the admin panel to make changes (to products, etc) isn't doing the trick. (Ah, the lazy one could hope...) Should I just install osC fresh on the new domain and copy over the new buttons, etc on top of the default install? Thanks! ♥Vger
If you want to do it that way then run the default install, then upload the files from your existing site except for the two configure.php files. If you have any contributions installed then you'll also need to drop the tables in the new database and import an sql file of the old database. If you want to start off with a clean Customer and Order base on the new site then you can delete these from the sql file before importing it into the new (blank) database, or you can drop them afterwards.
