Error with order status update email

In admin section on the order edit page I want to update the status to processing and send the update email to the customer with a note.

 

However, the customer gets a messed up email looking like this:

Any ideas to what is going wrong or where to start looking for the problem??

I still haven't figured this one out. Now my post is on page 18 so I might as well try once more to put it at the top and get an answer. Or else I will have to make another post of the same over and over till I get an answer. :-"
