dave249
For some reason I am not able to amend my site without bringing it down. On the index page I just changed 1 letter in the following line: define('TEXT_MAIN', 'Welcome, here you can find the latest movies available. We also stock a large range of older movies including hard to find titles.'); and each time I loaded up my site I got just an error message about line 34. Ok so I loaded the back up in and all was fine, then changed in again and this time I got an error in line 20. Any ideas what is going on? I am not brilliant with php and my previous sites were made with Frontpage. I have downloaded DZSoft PHP Editor but I cant preview the amended page in there as it shows up an error Any ideas what I am doing wrong Thanks Dave

Daemonj
If you are entering a single quote or apostrophe you need to escape all occurances of that character with a backslash, e.g. ' should be \' and that is most likely your problem.
