mkaiserfl Posted February 12, 2005 Share Posted February 12, 2005 I'm new to osCommerce and to Easy Populate, so take my question with that in mind, please. I'm testing Easy Populate, using my own test data. In osCommerce, I've "turned off" all the Stock options (check stock level and subtract stock) to false. To test Easy Populate, I downloaded a complete file, made a couple of minor changes to descriptions and uploaded the same file. All went well, except it appears the upload set the status of all the products to "out of stock." I assume this is because the quantity is 0, but I'm not planning to use osCommerce for inventory control. I suppose I could just set the quantity on everything to 1 (haven't tried that yet), but I'm wondering if there's a more "elegant" solution? Thanks in advance.
