I have installed oscommerce with my hosting company (ipowerweb). I have went thru the configuration and having problems. Header Logo Change

The header of the osCommerce store has it's logo in the header. To change this to your store logo open catalog/includes/header.php and about line 58 is:

I received an error as follows;

Error: I can not write to this file. Please set the right user permissions on: /home/studio69/.panel/web/ecommerce/os/catalog//includes/header.php
[/color]

I am trying get my catalog store up and running, but I see that I need some help. Can someone please help! I like the way oscommerce looks and would really like to use it as my website store.

Thanks In Advance,

Steve

Check the read write permissions, you should be able to do this either in your hosting companies file manager, or applications like Adobe goLive, Macromedias Dreamweaver, even some ftp agents allow you to change these settings on files and directories. If the file has write permissions on then check the directory it resides in, my guess is it is one or the other. It might be 777, but look around a bit as someone might have something a little more precise.

Read, read, read, test, read, read, test, read, implement.

Always back up your site and database before changes.

Always back up on a regular basis.
