If you are asking - Which is better - ASP or PHP then the answer has to be PHP. ASP is Microsoft only software, while PHP is open source software freely available to all. ASP also has the very nasty habit of timing out and generating on-screen errors - not good! ASP was actually Microsft's attempt to capture the dynamic website market via their scripting technology. It's not often that Microsoft loses a battle they set out to win - but in this instance they did. PHP has come on in leaps and bounds over the past few years and the number of applications available for PHP far outstrips the number available for ASP. PHP every time.
