Here's an idea. As we are adding new product, we can select a 'Special Order' radio button for that product. Then when we save it, it will show up on the front end side in the description, like at the bottom "This item is special ordered and cannot be returned".

 

This would be great for those merchants who carry a particular item that is only shipped direct from the manufacturer and warns the buyer beforehand that this item cannot be returned.

 

I would think that the packling slip and invoice would pull this information also when the order is placed to show that what was purchased is non-returnable.
