bjornavich Posted February 11, 2005 Share Posted February 11, 2005 Sorry to bother you guys with such a stupid question ...but I am new in all of this....I have hired myself hosting + domain registration and in the package was included oscommerce already on the server ...al I have to do was installing it on my "hosting domain" ..i did this but have no clue how I can acces the control panel..or ..catalog and al of these things ..is there somebody that can help me with this? :blush: I know everyone is gonna laugh.... The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing. Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems? There are many very useful osC Contributions Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!!! You did backup, right?? Guest Posted February 11, 2005 Share Posted February 11, 2005 First you must know what you named the directory (folder) on your server. (example: shopping_cart). If you don't remember goto your hosting cpanel or where you would go to manage and upload files. Second: once you have the name of the dir you installed oscom to, simply add that to your website address. (example: www.yourcompany.com/shop_cart ). To goto your admin page it usually: www.yourcompany.com/shop_cart/admin hope this helps...i am pretty new to this aswell... :D Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
