Guest
Please HELP! I have installed Austin R. cc module v 1.7. I have attempted to run a test and debug with the test credit card numbers. I get an error message highlighted in red that says there was a problem processing your credit card. Is this suppose to happen? I realize that the transactions will not really take place, however, I would like to see what should be happening. Do I need to make changes on the merchant side of the account before the transactions can be processed? (Go to my merchant account and make changes)? This is in reference to the payment gateway for Authorize.net. I have started with a clean reinstall of the program. Any suggestions or previous experience in this area. Thanks in advance. Would really like to get the store up and running and this is all new to me. :'(
Guest
You shouldn't get that error message from running a test transaction. I would start with athorize.net, and check with them first. NaturalSamba.com

Guest
better off not to use the test and debug, just create a product for $1.00 and run it thru on your cc, you can always go back in and reverse the charge. makes it much easier to watch the real thing and troubleshoot. make sure you regenerate a new transaction key, that can cause lots of troubles. Not one of them will go through. I just get the error at checkout about it being an undetermined error. I have changed the keys several times, always deleting the old one, copying the key at authnet and pasting it in the key field in the auth payment module. What did you do to finally get the red bar of failure to go away and actually let the order post? Michael
