Open Two Pages

Hi Peeps,

I have OsCommerce running sweetly. Thanks to this little community.

What i want now is to open two pages....

Let me explain

When somebody goes to my website www.sense-pcs.co.uk i want two windows to open.

1. The original page.

2. A Page that has the latest specials that can be closed when ever. The second page will be opened under a sub-domain (Specials.Sense-pcs.co.uk or gigabyte.sense-pcs.co.uk have not decided yet).

I tried looking at .Htaccess, but no go.

Any pointers would be fantastic

What I think you're trying to do, is set up a pop up window on your site, to tell people about your specials, right?

That's easy, you can use a javascript pop up window, and have it open the right page when your site first loads. There's tons of javascript pop up generators out there, you just have to copy and paste the code it gives you.

http://javascript.internet.com/generators/popup-window.html

and

http://javascriptkit.com/popwin/index.shtml

are two I found via Lycos Search.

Hope that helps.

Java scripts have to go between the <head> and </head> tags.

Installed Contributions: CCGV, Close Popup, Dynamic Meta Tags, Easy Populate, Froogle Data Feeder, Google Position, Infobox Header Entire Row, Live Support for OSC, PayPal Seal with CC images, Report_m Sales, Shop by Price Revised, SQL Updater, Who's Online Enhancement, Footer, GNA EP Assistant and still going.
