Where are the orders?

In the past few days, I have had customer feedback by phone that makes me concerned about my store. If it is not a safety issue, then it must be a usability one.

 

Where do the orders go?

When people sign into the store, and attempt an order, they cannot follow through.

 

Please, any help/comments are appreciated.

Where exactly is the problem happening?

 

Are they able to place the order but you do not see it?

 

Are they unable to place the order and if so at what point is the problem happening?

 

If it happens when they make a shipping choice does it happen for all or just a particular choice?

 

Same for payment does it break down then and if so for all choices or just one?

 

What shipping and payment modules are you using if that is where the problem is?

 

Need more info!!!

Hi,

 

My orders did not record either and I have been struggling with this sessions error for some time now

 

1062 - Duplicate entry '9085c0f986182c4b1d074de86a38f56c' for key 1

 

and have not found an answer in the forums. I am using a viaKLIX gateway and all works well, but at the moment of transaction, the customer will be directed to the viaKLIX gateway and upon return to my shopping cart has been logged out.

 

The problem was that I had no record in my data base about the transaction.

 

The above error with a lot more info will show at the bottom of that login page.

The money transfer proceeds flawless, and the client gets an email from viaKLIX the way I set it up.

 

I found a great work around until this is solved either by me or some one else in these forums.

 

I fond the contribution 'held orders', which works well with the only exception that I still have to go into the MySQL data base and delete the content of the customers basket.

I think I'm having the same sort of problem.

 

I'm using Protx to process my credit cards;

Orders go through, customer gets an email from Protx and they get charged BUT no order is shown in OSC .'. I never know there is an order.

 

I haven't got a clue whats going on :(
