Modifying Category Pages

I've already modified the Index.php (the home page) and want to modify the page which displays cateogries.

I am having trouble trying to locate the categories template/page. When look at the URL (at the top of the browser) I get the following:

 

http://click9052.serverspace.co.uk/index.php?cPath=1

 

I couldn't see anything in the index.php file also.

 

I'm new to php and would be grateful for any help ?

Not exactly sure which part you mean but might be the info included in:

catalog/includes/boxes/categories.php

I should make myself a little clear:

 

If you visit "http://click9052.serverspace.co.uk/index.php?cPath=30" and look at the main body of the page where it says - "Lets See What we have here". I am trying to modify this and strugling to find the code related to this.

 

Is the HTML code in Index.php (in the root) or elsewhere ?

hi, yes all is in index.php.

You can change the front page, the category page and the list of products for a category there, in different sections ...
