osCsid for view cart in custom menu

Hi All, looking for help and wisdom again,

I am trying to integrate the navigation for the products and cart in to the menu system I'm using if possible.

From the main site:

http://www.newlifehealthcare.co.uk/

To get the links to work for TopMenu->Shop->Myaccount, TopMenu->Shop->Checkout what do I need to be putting in the url tag so as it catches the correct session id/osCsid for the user rather than a static link.

I need to do something similar for the SideMenu->Toxin Free->Skin Care which is what I want to replace ColumnLeft.php with

so as the products are linked to something like:

http://newlifehealthcare.co.uk/catalog/pro...a0ce4529320c544

rather than

http://newlifehealthcare.co.uk/catalog/pro...&products_id=28

Do I need to be careful of when the user goes between essetially an osC php page and a bog standard html page, I just noticed when I navigate about the osCsid changes?

Searching through further postings:

Is it possible to create a drop down menu with a 3rd party tool generating a .js file and then have this work with the session id from osC?

Has anyone done this and found a work around?

Essentially I want to have the same menu system all through the web site, product pages and info pages alike.

I am beginning to see postings talking about a contrib that uses a menu system, I am hoping to preserve the work done so far and essentially graft the shop in to the site, rather than try and rewrite the web site in to the shop.

Thoughts and comments really appreciated,

Ally
