mikek Posted February 6, 2005 Share Posted February 6, 2005 I use the download controller to handle distribution of pdfs in our resources centre at http://resources.lifecycleuk.org.uk/ We stock free pdfs, free maps which the customer are charged postage for and also books that our customers pay for and are charged for postage. The pdf's we stock are free to the public and with freecharger and freeshipper modules enabled, someone who chooses a pdf can get it through checkout and download no problem. The problem i am having is that when someone selects a map which is free but has a postage fee, the store presents them with a postage cost. the problem i am having is that as the freecharger module is programmed not to charge you for items with no price the customer is not the subsequently charged for postage. what i would like to do is to get the freecharger module to only cut in if the products have no weight and no cost rather than just no cost. Not being hugely familar with the logic behind the payment modules, i wonder if someone can point out what i can change to get my configuration to work?
