No-idea Posted February 5, 2005 Posted February 5, 2005 Hello all, I'm trying to sort out the recieving money side of my shop and I'm not having much luck finding where to get a merchant account so I thought I would have a look at paypal as I've been a member for ages. However my only concern is that the customers will need to have a paypal account to buy things from my site. Is this correct? Or can I just recieve money from anyone? Cheers for anyhelp. Bob :) Quote
TCwho Posted February 5, 2005 Posted February 5, 2005 officially people do not need to have a paypal account to pay using paypal (however on the backend, when somone goes to pay, it pretty much creates an account for them...) No-idea Posted February 6, 2005 Author Posted February 6, 2005 Do they have to fill out loads of information then? Because I don't want to set it up if people are going to get annoyed as they have to enter loads of information and so on? Cheers for the reply buddy! :) Quote

RikR Posted February 26, 2005 Posted February 26, 2005 Customers can pay via Paypal with a credit card and NOT have a Paypal account. This is now a Paypal feature. Quote Rik Rasmussen
