Is there like a file that the products are stored in so I can manually change where it thinks the image is?

Paths are usually controlled in your two configure.php files. Make sure they are correct and a url may help.

The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing.

Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems?

There are many very useful osC Contributions

Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here

BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!!! You did backup, right??

Do you mean the ones in admin and includes?

What url would you like?

I will do anything to get this sorted!

I checked the configure.php files and they say the location is /images/ so I can't see the problem?

If anyone could help it would be so much appreciated!

the location meant is what do you have for http server settings.

also, check in the includes/local directory and delete any configure.php file in there.

Hello and THANK YOU for your reply.

In the includes/local directory I have .cvsignore and README.

When you say what do I have for http settings what do you mean? Sorry I'm not that advanced at this stuff.

Thanx so much!

Bob

EDIT: The install of oscommerce is in the htp docs folder and not in a catalog folder if thats what you meant :)

Hello again :)

I think I may have found what you meant. DId you mean this:

HTTP Server: Apache/1.3.33

PHP Version: 4.3.11-dev (Zend: 1.3.0)

Is that what you wanted to know?

I deleted all the products I added and put the image file from the backup I made before I tryed adding the products to see if I tryed again it would work but again I have the same problem :(

I don't understand as it all worked fine with the other products?

Any help is welcome as I'm really desperate to get this sorted because an advert in a magazine for my site is going to be out soon and this is a huge stumbling block.

Thanx for anyhelp people!

When Richard suggested you post a url, he meant to give us a link to your site so that we could look at it and see what was happening. Mibble was suggesting that you look at the https server settings in your two includes/configure.php files.

Is there any chance that you have these images stored in a FrontPage web and are uploading them via FrontPage. If so, remove them from the FrontPage web and either upload them via FTP, or upload them via your osCommerce File Manager. I say this because FrontPage stores the local path to the image, and when you upload it can store that path in the vti_ folders on your website as well.

Thank you for the reply.

My site is www.phoenixfactory.net :)

The images are saved in a normal folder and are off a digital camera. I use cute ftp to transfer the files like I did the others.

What should I look for in the http server settings in the configure file?

I've added a product so you can seee what happens.

I used microsoft office picture manager if that does the same thing as frontpage?

Thank you sooooooo much!!!!
