Thanks, Mike www.sweetnessandspice.com <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hi Mike What makes your site different ? - I know you've worked hard on it - what I mean is why is this different to any other adult site out there ? Give me a reason to bookmark your site. The layout is stock osC (not a bad thing) but that is not a differentiator. The colors are interesting - but again whats different about the combination you use ? Think of using different color in your words to emphasise product attributes, use of products - and loose the etc The products are intersting - but why would a person buy from you rather than from another site ? You need a differentiator to amke the site stand out - visit a few similar sites and make a list of what you find attractive AND ofputting and then use those ideas to enhance your own site. Another of my pet comments when I visit sites is make the shopping experience as simple and easy for your customer as possible. Think of reducing the size of your page to 750 - many of your customers surf on 800 x 600 - make them scroll up and down - expected - make them scroll left and right and you loose them. hth Charles A kite flies highest AGAINST the wind ! insyspider Posted February 5, 2005 Posted February 5, 2005 I think it's great. I don't understand all the "fuss" over "stock OSC stores". I showed your site to my wife, as I thought you might be interested in a woman's opinion. Following is what she found. Your wording makes me feel "safe" in shopping there, and that's what is important to me. Your wording also gives some "class" to your product, which also makes me more comfortable in wanting to shop there. Here are some minor things I found, mostly in the line of "typos". Under "Refunds" you have "We happy to arrange". Are you a division of Zillion Ltd or S&S Ventures, you say it both ways. Your "Conditions of Use" page is blank. I would remove the link from the infobox. In your "Newsletters" section, you have "monthly news letters"; it should be "monthly newletter" to match the way you show it elsewhere. Good luck. I like your site.

For the original poster: I like your "online reads" logo - can you redesign the site around that Logo? - use the purples, use shadows. Shadows always look good if done right. The rest of the site does not give an X-factor or even a XXX-factor ;)
AfterDark Posted February 6, 2005 Posted February 6, 2005 Something along your lines in osc that stands out a bit more... Pretty In Pink Maybe you can get some ideas?
Guest Posted February 6, 2005 Posted February 6, 2005 no title on main index page no mention of 28 usc for age requirements (certain states are 18, others are 21) so this could get you nailed by 'Big Brother' insde is too plain
