All prices skewed -7%

I've searched the forum with every combination of string I can think of but can't seem to key on this exact problem.

 

Problem: All my prices in my catalog and checkout prices are 7% below the actual price.

 

I had a 7% tax class in place prior to uploading the easypopulate data and all prices were marked taxable. The tax class works correctly when checking out. Show tax with price is set to false.

 

When I download the data from easypopulate to check it the prices are correct.

 

As you can imagine, this problem has skewed all the stores prices -7%. I can do a +7% calculation on all the data in the excel file to correct this but I wanted to ask if there was a setting I'm missing that would keep this from occurring. I don't like the idea of having to remember to add 7% to the cost of all my items.

 

Here's some background on my install

The OSC files on my install are dates: 2003/07/12

EP is version v2.72-MS2 (with attributes)

i have the same problem .. to me, it calculates double tax rate when entering gros price .. slightly the same problem .... just + not - :huh:

I removed the tax class and pulled the data down from easypopulate and the amounts were all -7% in the spreadsheet. I uploaded the correct prices without a class installed and it shows up correctly in the catalog. What ever is causing this, it's definately related to adding that tax class.

 

This is frustrating!

I think it's solved, I installed the SQL FL tax script provided with the OS package and then went in and changed the state to the store's home state and the whole thing seems correct now.
