Is it possible for the customer to log into their accoutn and check the order status?

 

How can I make the changes to the updates for example ( processing,packing,shipping,shipped)

 

Also when it is marked shipped is it possible to add the tracking nubmer and send an e-mail conformation?

Hi:

 

1) Yes, this is a default feature.

 

2) When you edit an order in admin, there is a dropdown for changing the order status. The customer can see the changed status when they login, and you can also notify them of a change via email. You can insert a new order status entry or edit existing wording under Localization in admin.

 

3) Yes, you can add a tracking number as a comment when you edit an order in admin. You can also send comments to the customer via email. You might also look at the UPS XML Order Tracking contribution--very nice.

So How do I change the drop down list to the options that I want in there?

 

Is this a little mroe diffacult?
