DorianJ Posted February 5, 2005 Posted February 5, 2005 To make this short and sweet, my server crashed and my install of osC, MySQL, et al were lost. Everything was backed up. I was running MySQL 3.26 and the version of osC that was available last March/April 2004. I've now upgraded to MySQL 4 and the latest version of osC, and everything *seems* to have installed, but my web site is back to the default osC site (www.my4by.com). I tried replacing these new .php files with my old .php files and the sit eno longer loads. I need to know what the differences are with the old and new versions of osC so I can make my site look the way I had it (which took MANY hours to perfect). If I have to start the install over again then I will. I *really* need some instructions on how to do this. -Dorian
Guest Posted February 5, 2005 Posted February 5, 2005 differences are in your code. your database, files, etc so if you had it all backed up, all u would need to do is restore your database then properly code the configure.php files and it works. just because u went from sql 3 to 4 doesnt make it incompatible.
