I am new to working with Oscommerce, and am trying to Install it without any luck.

I will give you as many details as I can, and if you need more please let me know what you need me to give you.

Server

P4 1.7ghz Celeron 1gb DDR800, 2 36gb SCSI Baracuda 15,000 rpm drives running Windows 2000 SP 4 IIS Installed and Running.

I have installed PHP version: 5.0

I have MySql installed and Running.

I created a Oscommerce database in MYSql, so there is currently a database. I then imported the MySql Tables from the .sql file into this database.

I have tried this with the database and without the database and get the same problem.

I have the Files stored in a folder //wwwroot/store/ on my site. These files were copied from the Catalog directory in the oscommerce-2.2ms2 folder.

I Now go to Install the Store by running \store\Install on my site. I now get the Installation Page asking me if I want to Upgrade or Install. I select Install. It then goes to the next Step in the Install, which asks Import Catalog Databases which is checked and Automatic Configuration which is also checked. I then click Continue and nothing happens, this is as far as it goes and I am unable to get it to go any further no matter what I do.

The pages just refreshes, it seems like when I click Continue and then it is stuck. Nothing further will happen.

I have read all the Installation Instructions, and made some changes to some of the files that were needed to be changed to use this on a Windows server.

I am just trying to Install it, so that I can learn it for work, but this will not be a live site as of yet.

Please let me know what I am doing wrong, I hope that someone else will know.

Thanks,

Bryan

Guess a Little information being written down in the forums, allowed me to figure out my own problem, by using the PHP 5, so Now I am on to step 3.

Downgraded to PHP 4.3.10 and now it seems to be allowing me further at least, so far. Will let you know if I get it working.
