How do I remove the numbers besite the category titles in the left category's box.

I think it may be part of the reason why my pics are squished on the left.

That's a setting in admin->configuration->my store, Show Category Counts.

Ah! So easy. Feel like an idiot. I've been trolling through so much code getting this cart modified I didn't even think to look there. My menu is still squished though

I only know the answer since I made the same mistake myself when I started. :)

 

You can set the width of the left and right columns by changing the BOX_WIDTH setting in includes/application_top.php. That might help.

Thanks Jack.. I fixed it by turning off the image resizing in the admin panel. I'll just have to make sure that I make my images the proper size.
